196/366 trout lake art festival

Isn't my new mug adorable? Portland artist Kristy Lombard calls them “Sweater Cuff Mugs,” which I love because a sweater cuff was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw them at the Trout Lake Art Festival today. But the second thing that popped in my head was “watermelon,” because of the red and green glazes, so I had to photograph it with some watermelon as soon as we got home.

If you need something to do Sunday and you feel like driving to Trout Lake, Washington, I definitely recommend the Art Festival. Glass art, pottery, watercolor and oil paintings, photography, jewelry, wood and metal art, delicious food and drinks, live music, all tucked amidst gorgeous scenery. We had a wonderful day!
