My kids get so much enjoyment out of the tiniest things. They asked for mac & cheese for lunch, so I gave it to them. But instead of cutting their apple into wedges, like usual, I sliced it crosswise and took out the core. Then I sprinkled the slices with the tiniest amount of cinnamon & sugar and placed them at the top of the plate to look like giant alien eyes.
When the kids came in from playing outside, they were so excited to see their macaroni aliens.
It's the little things, you know? Making memories.
