Saturday morning (very early morning, as you can see from the light levels) I joined a handful of locals and semi-locals for a photo walk. My friend Ashleigh of BleuOiseau Photography led the Columbia Gorge leg of Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk. It was really great to get out and just shoot for two hours, talking with other photographers, seeing what they find interesting enough to capture.
That alone taught me so much—watching other people photograph my town, capturing things I walk by every day, but don't actually see. It was fantastic, and I can't wait for the next one.
