I spent the afternoon/evening at my daughter's elementary school for our annual cultural night. Parents and teachers volunteer to prepare tables that represent different countries or cultures. We had Carnival and Mardi Gras mask making, shadow puppetry from Indonesia, spring rolls from Thailand, pesto gnocchi from Italy, sauerkraut and Nutella from Germany (what a combination!), real snakes and reptiles, a kimono dress up station from Japan, and lots of happy kids. Such a fun evening. :)
