63/366 saturday

There are so many times that I want to capture moments with my children, and I don't, because my hair isn't cooperating or I have no make up on or I know my position will not be flattering. But today I threw that all out the window. This “little guy” reminds me every day that he is no longer little. He asks me every day if it's time to start kindergarten yet. Just six more months. And today, he wanted to snuggle with Mommy while he watched a movie. I wonder how many more of those moments I have left?

What a sweet picture. There's something special about moms and their sons I think.

This is really special, Risa. The light is lovely and the connection between you two is real and beautifully communicated. It is tough to get into the self portrait groove... but it is so worth it :)

Fathers and daughters, too. I have many happy memories of napping with little ones, including you. Others have snapped 'embarrassing' pics of such moments, but those moments never made me self-conscious. You have years of snuggling ahead of you, Risa, don't despair!
