The little dude decided he was ready for his own library card today. He chose four books to check out right away, even though we checked out a tote full of books Wednesday. As soon as we got home, he read three books in a row, when his limit is usually one. Oh, the excitement of new found independence.
Speaking of libraries, we saw the Paradise of Samoa dancers this morning as part of our library's summer program. They were fantastic, and we all learned a bit about the islands of the Pacific. They are based in Keizer, Oregon, but travel a bit around the northwest. If you get the chance, I definitely recommend seeing them!
