We took the kids to see a Portland Ballet production and then to dinner at a restaurant where they had to use their best manners. We dressed up, did our hair, and really played up how cool it is they get to do such things now that they're big kids. They were both exhausted by the end of the night, but we had fun. And driving through the big city at night is always a highlight for my small town kids. :)
