roasted broccoli & walnuts with orecchiette

 This recipe could not be simpler.

Olive oil, s&p

Stir together and roast at 425° for 15-20 minutes

Stir in cooked pasta
(I like orecchiette)

Top with grated parmesan
I don't remember where I found it.
(Probably a magazine. Probably Real Simple, because it is.)

This is my go-to recipe for new dinner guests.
(Though not everyone is a walnut fan.)
It's fast, easy, vegetarian, delicious and pretty.

We make it when we don't have dinner guests, and we feel like guests at our own table.
Especially when we light candles.

Do you ever make fancy dinners at home, for just the fam?
We love it.
My favorite part is that this fancy dinner was on the table 30 minutes after I started chopping broccoli.
Can't beat that.
