I held out for a long time on the foil cutter. Hubs wanted to get one, but I pushed it off, thinking we really didn't have room for another one-job-gadget in our cluttered drawers. Besides, I can get the foil off easily enough with a knife or my fingernails.
But then I tried one.
Hubs bought one anyway, and I tried it.
You place the little cap-sized gadget on top of the wine bottle, as you would a. . . cap.
Squeeze, twist.
Done.
No ripped foil, no skipped over spots to go back and remove.
I love this little, nearly-useless piece of junk.
