I didn't get my regular Photo Friday post up yesterday due to early morning shopping, napping, and driving. Lots of driving. Here are some shots of our drive out to Portland. (That's I-84 Eastbound from Hood River, if you're keeping track.) We've passed the optimum fall leaf time, but what's left is still gorgeous.
Since embarking on this photography journey, I've really heightened my appreciation for interesting clouds. Water vapor is truly wondrous.
I've tried several different techniques to try to bring out the depth and layers of the clouds in post-processing (adjustments to contrast and curves, mostly), but I haven't found the perfect fit yet. Anyone have any suggestions?
