43/466 laundry legacy

She interned for a while with Hubs, learning to do the dishes. She grew tired of that, and thought the grass would be greener on the laundry (Mom's) side. So I'm teaching her to sort colors, run the machines, and fold the way I like. That's the best part about teaching kids, right? Teaching them your preferred method so you can eventually pass the torch, yet still get things done the way you like them?

...and just how well is that brainwashing working for you? I remember how pliant you were...

My little Cate has started to help "fold" the laundry. She wads it up (very carefully mind you) and then makes a big pile in the middle of the bed. Such a good little helper.
