We had a break from the rain yesterday afternoon, so I walked to pick up the kids from school. I knew Little Mister would be exhausted, as he always is on Friday afternoons from a week full of school, so I raided their trick-or-treat stashes for a Snickers bribe. I stuck a Fun-Size Snickers for both of them in my pocket and headed on my way.
My bribe was just enough to get us home with minimal grumpiness. We even stopped to throw rocks into a few puddles. I'm so glad the weekend is finally here!
