We woke up to a thick layer of frost this morning. I know we'll have many more, but I got really excited at the idea of photos of leaves covered with sparkly frost. Unfortunately, it was a get-ready-for-school morning after a four-day weekend, and we didn't pull it together in time for me to take some shots before school. When I got back home, the sun was up and all the frost had melted.
Luckily, thawed frost can be just as beautiful.
