Sansevieria. Snake plant. Mother-in-law's tongue. Whatever you call it, my mom gave me a baby one last week and I'm loving it. It's supposed to be nearly impossible to kill, which is great for me.
I read earlier that the plants with striped leaves, like this one, are “snake plants” and that “mother-in-law's tongue” plants have leaves with yellow borders. It's too bad, because I already named him Milty. And the name is sticking.
