If I don't have an idea for a daily photo by lunchtime, I get a little worried. Mostly I worry that I'll forget to take one in the afternoon and maybe even forget to take one all day. My solution is to stalk the house looking for something to macro. A macro image can turn the most mundane object into something fascinating.
Take this vase of weeds. Is there anything sweeter than a bouquet of weeds from a child? I saw those teeny tiny orchid-like flowers, found some bright light, and set to work.
They're still not as sharp as I'd like. Once my new tripod arrives, I plan to leave it out, set up and easily accessible for at least a week and use it for some macro shooting.
