I was up at 5:30 this morning for a walk. I saw the sun come up, a deer at breakfast, a wacky slime trail from a very active slug, and some backlit borage. I have some just like this in my garden this year. Did you know that they're edible? They're sweet, and would be great on desserts. Plus they self-sow—which means they grow like weeds year after year. I'm hoping they'll choke out the weeds I don't want in the garden.
