With all the planning and preparation that goes into birthday parties for my kids (or a large dinner party, for that matter), I'm so exhausted afterward it can take me weeks to clean everything up. It's been three days, and we still have balloons and banners up, packaging to recycle, and random party debris to clear. I'm just extending the celebration, right?
