Sweetpea realized she could make a ghost shape with her hand this afternoon. I asked her if she'd be willing to do it again for a picture in a few minutes. She agreed. I fixed her after-school snack and put her on notice that I would be calling her over soon. Since the plastic ghost in the window sill was key to the story, I figured I could best capture the scene from outside the window. It worked, for the most part. I was so focused on getting my composition the way I wanted, I neglected to see the striped reflections obscuring the ghost shadows.
On top of that, the whole scene is too busy to have much impact. I'm pretty disappointed in the image, but the concept had merit.
