As of yesterday afternoon, I have officially started my holiday baking....if you can call peppermint bark "holiday baking." Have you made peppermint bark? It is ridiculously easy.
- Melt one bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips in one bowl–in the microwave–and one bag of white "chocolate" chips in another bowl.
- Blob them separately on a parchment-lined rimmed baking sheet, and swirl together with a skewer, chopstick or something similar.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top and press in gently.
- Allow to cool and harden at room temperature for a few hours.
- Break into bite-sized pieces.
- Quickly place them into an airtight container on a high shelf so they last until your guests arrive. :)
