Thanks to my friend Jen, Pinterest, and this handy little video from Studio 5 in Salt Lake, I had a new no-sew scarf in 5 minutes today. I took an old tshirt, cut it into strips, stretched them, doubled them, and tied them together. It really was that easy.
My loops didn't curl as much as the scarf on the video. I think that had something to do with the weave of this particular tshirt. I'm attempting the frilly/spiral scarf with another tshirt tomorrow—we'll see how that goes. I have a feeling that cheap discount store tshirts might work the best. I'll keep you posted.
Even though they didn't curl perfectly, I still love this new accessory. It was the perfect pop of color for my rain cloud-colored outfit today. Hooray!
