Boy, we haven't been sick for a while, but this one was a doozy. Little Mister brought it home, and we had a few days of playing Is It Allergies or a Cold? Sweetpea and Hubs had symptoms within the next two days, and we still weren't sure exactly what it was. I had everyone try their respective allergy meds, I changed the air filter, but nothing seemed to help. I figured it was probably a virus of some kind, but it seemed to be disappearing pretty quickly.
Early Saturday morning I woke with a sore throat. The delay in my symptoms confirmed it was some kind of virus. Boo. I was ok for most of Saturday, but it really hit me Saturday evening. I just wanted to crawl into bed and never leave. I spent the first half of Sunday on the couch with my tissues, a blanket, and a book. Thank goodness the kids are old enough to make their own breakfasts and entertain themselves with Legos for hours!
I'm still staying close to the couch today, but my symptoms are starting to fade. This is the first time I've touched my computer all weekend. It was pretty nice to unplug, even for a little while.
